For the 1980 model year the 442 W-30 package returned to the Olds lignup. Basically this car was a 1979 Hurst/Olds with
slightly different trim... and of course the header panel update that came with the 1980 model year. The 442 W-30 was
powered by the same Oldsmobile produced 350 as it's H/O cousin. There were 886 of these cars produced in 1980 (making it rarer
than the 1979 H/O); 346 were white, 540 were black. This picture was taken by Greg Beaulieu of the Classic Olds
Mailing List. It was taken at a local car show, and may very well be the ONLY 1980 442 W-30 left in his home province of
Nova Scotia, Canada.
Jason Labay has a 1980 442 W-30. His homepage gives much more information and cost
and availability specifics for these cars in 1980.
Lindsey Winch has a black 1980 442 W-30.
