This car was originally owned by the state of New Jersey and was
patrol car # 157.

I bid on this car... and purchased it on an eBay website auction
I got a very good deal on the car... and am quite pleased with it.
Some people are afraid of bidding on a large item such as this
online... and there IS a lot of fraud on eBay... there are some
simple rules though, that people can take to keep from getting burnt!
First off... check feedback! How much negative feedback?
How much neutral feedback? Check some of the dates from the feedback.
When is the most recent from? Have there been any big ticket
items involved in the person's auctions or just little cheap stuff?
If the person's feedback looks good... next take a close look
at the auction description... does the person mention the
problems as well as the good points of the item? Does he seem
to leave anything out? If the item is a car run the VIN number
through carfax. If they don't state the VIN number write to
them and ask for it... if they don't give it to you, be suspect!
Take a close look at any pictures for any hidden flaws! Finally,
never, ever, give 100% payment for a big ticket item like a car,
land, expensive coins, or whatever, without examining them
in person. A 10% deposit or something of the sort should be accepted
in most circumstances... then pay the rest upon delivery. A person
can find good bargains at some of these auction sites (like this car)
just so long as they are careful!
